Remove a member from a channel

Removes a member from a standard channel (a leave or a removal — the same operation). Idempotent: removing someone who is not a member is not an error. The user's inbox row for this channel is removed with the membership.

Path Parameters

  • channelId
    Type: string
    required

    The channel id. Channels are not created explicitly — they exist by being used.

  • userId
    Type: string
    required

    A user id (the sub you minted the token with, or an id you add as a member).
